Effective March 14, 2008, International Avionics, Inc. a Delaware Corporation, has
announced their acquisition of Narco Avionics, Inc. headquartered in Fort Washington,
Pennsylvania.
Alan Hanks, CEO of International Avionics, Inc., made the announcement from the
company's California offices, Monday, March 23, 2008.
Hanks, stated, "International Avionics, Inc. is very pleased to have acquired Narco
Avionics" and noted", all operations at the Narco Avionics, Fort Washington, PA.
facilities will continue as they are. All Narco Customer Service / Product Support and
the Narco Dealer Network, will continue to be fully supported. On-going new product
research & development will continue at "Maximum Effort"!
Narco Avionics, Inc., the oldest General Aviation Electronics Manufacturer in the world,
will celebrate it's 63rd birthday November 11, 2008 and is very proud to have over
100,000 aircraft flying around the world, with some model of Narco radio on board. The
well-known, now historical company was originally incorporated November 11, 1945.
Hanks, has been involved with Narco Avionics and the "General Aviation Electronics
Industry" for 40 years, having originally been employed by Narco in 1967 as a Regional
Sales Manager and for the past couple of years has been a consultant. Hanks, served as
President, of Narco from 1994 to 1998, is a Commercial, Instrument Rated Pilot, with
over 18,000 hours.
