Loaners and Express Service
Loaners/Rentals? Sure! But, if you want your own radio back in a real rush, there's Express Service. For an extra $100 Narco can provide Express Service which is a custom solution to your individual problem. You must call for details and return authorization number before Express Service can be provided..

We know Narco radios inside out
We've probably seen your problem before, so we spend less time in blind troubleshooting. Narco's technicians are the best in the business, and they are supported by the engineers who designed your radio and the manufacturing staff that built it. You won't find as much service firepower and expertise under one roof anywhere.

The Oldest Avionics Company In General Aviation
Narco Avionics is over 60 years old. As a result there are thousands of our radios in service that are well over 20 years old. As one might imagine it is extremely difficult for Narco to maintain parts vendors and field technical training for many of these older radios. Therefore, we feel our customers are best served by having these older products sent directly to the Narco factory for service. (Please click here for a list of older unserviceable products)

Up to date upgrades.
While we have your radio, we update it with the significant modifications that have been incorporated since its manufacture. This brings new convenience to you, and extends the service life of your radio, too.

90 Day Service Warranty.
Narco offers 90 day limited warranty on most models of radios that it services. Click here for a copy of the warranty policy: Warranty Policy Information.

Special Support Programs
There's much more to Narco factory service than repairing a NAV/COM or transponder. Here are some special programs:

* Re-certification of ELT 910 with fresh NARCO battery pack.

* HT-800/830/870 repairs.

* MK 12D upgrade to MK l2D+

* COM 810/811 upgrade to COM 810+/811+

* Ground station certification.

Sooner or later, even a good radio is going to need some help.
Modern avionics are much, much more reliable than just a decade ago. The digital revolution in avionics that introduced conveniences such as the frequency storage/transfer feature found on Narco MK l2D+'s and the extensive surface mount technology used in the NAV122/D also extended MTBFs significantly.

But it's a tough world out there on the other side of your instrument panel. Heat, vibration, high humidity, abuse, and salt-laden moisture are just some of the forces which can strain any brand of radio past the breaking point.

Although the cost of modern avionics, in real terms, has declined sharply over the past decade, the cost of field service has not That's why it makes sense to send your radio in for factory service when you suspect a complex problem. Send it yourself. There will be a minimum of two hours labor charged for any product returned for service or checkout.
